Homemade lip gloss is much smoother and silkier than most store-bought lip
The lipstick ingredient is optional, but it gives a nice pink color to your lip gloss.
Follow these simple steps to learn how to make chocolate peppermint lip gloss
Things You'll Need:
- 1-1/2 t. Cocoa Butter
- 1/2 t. Coconut Oil
- 3 drops Vitamin E
- 3 Chocolate Chips
- 1 drop peppermint extract
- 1 tiny piece of pink lipstick
- Step 1
Combine the cocoa
butter , coconut oil, lipstick, vitamin E and the chocolate chips together in a microwave safe bowl. - Step 2
Heat for 1 minute or until melted in a microwave. You can also heat until melted in a double boiler.
- Step 3
Stir until thoroughly combined and then add the peppermint extract. The extract will not taste as good if it is cooked.
- Step 4
Pour into lip gloss containers. If you do not have a lip gloss container, you can use the lid of a bottle or an old lipstick tube.

Let your lip gloss cool and dry for 24 hours. This homemade lip gloss makes a great gift! Girls old and young will enjoy using this chocolate peppermint lip gloss.
